Does this sound familiar...

Your teen is doing ok.
They're keeping up with school, sports, music (all the things), and trying to do a good job in everything. But you worry that they're constantly ON.They may put pressure on themselves. Overthink things. Or struggle to switch off. They're not in crisis, but they haven't learned there's another way to relate to the constant stream of thoughts and pressures that fill their minds—heck, most adults haven't learned to do this!RESET was created for teenagers like these.Over six weeks, students learn simple, practical ways to step back from mental overload and develop a healthier relationship with themselves.Rather than adding another thing to achieve, RESET offers something many teenagers rarely experience: an opportunity to pause and find a steadier, calmer place beneath the chatter in their mind

What students gain

- A simple, practical way to step out of mental overdrive and feel grounded.- A different way to relate to self-critical thoughts, so they don't take over- More mental space for focus, creativity and motivation- Tools for making decisions they feel good about- A greater sense of connection— with themselves and othersThere's no pressure to perform or "get it right." This isn't another thing they need to DO.

How the program works:

1.
Understanding the busy mind

Students learn to recognize when they’re caught in anxious or self-critical thinking and how to relate differently to it, so their thoughts don’t automatically run the show.

2.
Do-nothing meditation

An accessible form of meditation that doesn't require concentration or trying to quiet the mind. Instead, it simply invites teens to stop doing for a little while.

3.
Gentle disconnecting

Students experiment with reducing stimulation. This isn’t about taking phones away or imposing rules but helping teens discover, for themselves, how disconnecting just feels good.

Week 1 – Learning how to pause
Introducing do-nothing meditation and discovering that slowing down doesn't mean falling behind.

Week 2 – Reconnecting with themselves
Learning to notice thoughts, emotions, and inner experience with greater awareness and less judgment.

Week 3 – You are not your thoughts
Discovering that thoughts don't have to run the show, and experiencing the calm that exists beneath mental chatter.

Week 4 – Stillness before the spark
Exploring how mental space supports focus, creativity, and clearer thinking.

Week 5 – Finding your inner compass
Learning to make decisions from a calmer, steadier place rather than reacting from pressure.

Week 6 – Taking RESET into everyday life
Reflecting on what's changed and creating a simple plan for continuing the practices beyond the program.

FAQ

✅ Is this therapy? No. RESET is a wellbeing program, not therapy or treatment. It focuses on helping teens relate differently to stress, mental overload, and constant stimulation in everyday life.✅ Does my teen need meditation experience? Not at all. RESET uses a very accessible “do-nothing” meditation approach that works even for teens with short attention spans. There’s no concentration required and nothing to be good at.✅ What if my teen doesn’t want to meditate? That’s okay. There’s no pressure to perform or participate in any particular way. Teens are invited to try things out and notice their own experience; people typically find it easier than expected.✅ Will students be asked to share personal things? No forced sharing. Students are always free to participate quietly. Some choose to speak, others don’t. Both are completely fine.✅ Will cameras be on?Yes, we ask students to join with cameras on so the group feels real, connected, and supportive. That said, if a student has a specific reason they need to be off camera, we’re happy to discuss accommodations.
